Zellige is a Moroccan artisanal craft passed down for more than ten centuries. It is still made using the same technique, with colourful geometric patterns.
For this project, I collaborated with artisans who have practised it for 40 years to create a pattern generated through parametric design.
The aim was to reactivate this ancient craft through a digital tool, with the generative pattern coming to life through the artisan’s hand.
